Ciao!  My name is Sherry Meyers and I have been planning unique Italian and European vacations for more than twenty years. My passion for travel originated from being the daughter of an Air Force Colonel, living in Spain and Turkey, and traveling throughout Europe.

Early in my career I was a manager of an advertising firm and handled many travel industry clients including the US debut of Iberia Airlines out of Miami, the maiden voyage of Majesty Cruise Lines, and managing the marketing and advertising needs of numerous other cruise lines and travel clients. These relationships allowed me to experience Europe from a cruise ship and experience many of the ports of call that cruising in Europe has to offer. 

Later on I became the executive director of national associations where we organized travel and events for our board and its members in locales throughout the US. This required significant organization, logistics, budgeting and planning. 

Over time my vocation became my avocation as I explored unique and interesting destinations around the world. For the next twenty years with family and friends we rented villas and vacation homes each year throughout Europe. Since there were so many people involved in these trips I had to do significant planning so that we had reservations that could get our large group into restaurants, hotels, wineries, etc. I also started a network with local guides so that when we visited historic cities and sites we would get the “local” version and enjoy a location like a local would and in many cases these guides had advanced degrees in history, art, architecture and could provide real color and excitement to the locations. Many of these trips included children, mobility impaired and elderly members, so planning needed to include creating trips that met multiple requirements.    

Over time we became more and more drawn to the beauty, quality, and richness of Italy. By renting various villas in different locations we knew what we wanted (and what we didn’t). In 2002, we attempted to purchase a property, but it was not until 2014 that we found the perfect balance of being close to a town, yet far enough to enjoy the countryside. Our 800-year-old farmhouse/medieval tower house took over two years to completely renovate, modernize, add an infinity edge pool, and update its gardens, olive groves and vineyards. This special property is literally in the center of Italy with many cities within an easy drive or train ride from its Tuscan hill town of Montepulciano location.    

I travel back to Europe and Italy on a regular basis to build new and expand relationships with guides, restaurateurs, hoteliers, chefs and wineries. Today I provide this knowledge to my clients to help them get the most out of their trips and help make their travel experience a memory never to forget. Each trip that is planned is unique to each group. I work to determine the group’s past experiences, needs, budgets, and desires. By the time they are ready to depart, they will have a unique and individualized itinerary and background information for the entire trip.
